LEGO’s Twilight The Cullen House Set Details
The LEGO Group and Lionsgate have finally come together to bring one of Twilight‘s most iconic structures to life. After all, so many things went right (and wrong) in the Cullen House throughout the Twilight journey, it’s only fair LEGO’s first homage to the franchise honors it as it deserves. (Although we still are after a Cullen baseball field set, but that’s a conversation for a whole different piece.) It makes true sense to begin with the jewel of the Twilight world, what LEGO describes as a design that captures “the stylish, modern architecture and intricate interior of the three-story residence” and invites fans to immerse themselves in the epic saga.
Of course, Twilight is all about Bella cramping the Cullens style with her churlish and unfashionable ways (with love!) so Bella’s iconic red truck makes an appearance as well. Just so we know there’s a little bit of our favorite loca represented. Additionally, we get a towering tree to build for the full Spider Monkey experience. (A meadow to lie shirtless in is sold separately.) The LEGO version of the Twilight Cullen House also features a grand piano for the living room so that LEGO Edward can serenade Bella to his heart’s content.

That’s the good stuff. Now for the EXTRA good stuff. The Cullen House LEGO set includes seven Twilight minifigures, including Bella Swan, Edward Cullen (with a dazzling sparkle effect), and Jacob Black, who also appears in his wolf form. Honestly, we would have rioted if the Edward minifigure didn’t sparkle. But now we don’t have to. What a relief! But that would have truly robbed us of something elemental to the LEGO Twilight experience. Also how much do we love that Jacob has long hair in the set, reflecting his look when Bella first met the Cullens? So much. (Although it seems like LEGO also provides this Twilight LEGO minifigure with his short haircut for even more transformative possibilities.)

LEGO’s Twilight Set Began as a LEGO Ideas Submission
Incredibly, this Twilight set began life as a LEGO Ideas submission. That means a fan submitted the set so it could potentially transform into a real LEGO set.
The new Twilight LEGO set was designed by LEGO fan Nick Micheels. A release shares, “Once designed, 10,000 people voted for it to be made into a real set. This idea took less than 48 hours to make it to 10,000 votes – one of the fastest 10,000 submissions to date!”
Micheels shares of his design, “The amazing submissions on the LEGO Ideas site that demonstrated how dynamic the LEGO system is inspired me to submit my own idea. I decided to create a Twilight build because I’m a massive fan of the saga, and imagining a LEGO interpretation of the films made me so happy!” You can check out more about the original LEGO Ideas design here and know that this Twilight LEGO set was truly made by fans for fans.
