LeBron James, after his first practices with Bronny: “It’s going to be an incredible year”

After sharing his first days with his son, the NBA and Lakers legend has not been able to hide his excitement for what awaits them both this upcoming season

The 2024/25 season of the NBA is going to be historic in many ways, but above all because it will be the first time a father and a son share a team in the league. LeBron James and Bronny James will be major highlights of the Los Angeles Lakers.

After going through their first professional training sessions together, LeBron himself, in statements collected by HoopsHype, couldn’t hide his excitement about being able to play alongside his son in the NBA.

“It’s different in the sense of just mentioning Bronny as part of the team. I think it’s one of the best things in the world to be able to work with your son. This week we returned to the gym, and it was the first time Bronny and I have trained as professionals, facing off, getting ready for the season.”

LeBron still can’t believe it

“There were a couple of moments where I lost focus, and I’m not used to that happening when I’m on the court. But I was looking to the side, watching him, seeing him get ready and go for it. It’s going to be an incredible year for me, and I hope for him too,” LeBron James concludes.
