Liverpool have received a significant boost in their pursuit of Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who has reportedly turned down an offer from Paris Saint-Germain in favour of a potential move to the Premier League.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the 23-year-old Georgian winger, currently impressing at Euro 2024, turned down the £110-million approach from the French giants as he would like to try his luck in England.
Kvaratskhelia has emerged as a prime target for Liverpool. His impressive performances with Napoli and at the European Championships have solidified his reputation as one of Europe’s elite young talents.
Since joining Napoli in July 2022, the forward has scored 25 goals and registered 26 assists across 88 appearances.
DWIGHT YORKE WARNS ARNE SLOT OF FAILURE
Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke claims that new Liverpool head coach Arne Slot will fail at Anfield, comparing him to Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag.

The former Feyenoord manager arrives on Merseyside with a glowing reputation having guided the Rotterdam club to a Europa Conference League final, an Eredivisie title and a KNVB Cup following his appointment in 2021.
However, ex-Man Utd striker Yorke expects Slot to find life difficult in English football, continuing a tradition of Dutch coaches struggling in the Premier League.
Speaking with Crypto Casinos (via Liverpool.com), Yorke believes that the competitiveness of the English top flight will prove too much for Slot to handle.
“Can anyone confidently say there has been a good Dutch manager outside of the Netherlands in recent years? I think Arne Slot will fail to impress, the same way Erik ten Hag has,” claimed Yorke.
“Slot hasn’t shown any proof that he can adapt to British football and neither has any other Dutch manager.”
