A lot of people think that the Spurs played a perfect game in the 140-110 win over the Pacers on Thursday, but there were plenty of things that the team didn’t get right. they only shot 6 free throws in the game (the Pacers only shot 9), and they allowed Tyrese Halliburton, Obi Toppin and others to get open shots from beyond the arc to make the game close early. The Spurs blew the game wide open with hot shooting in the second half, but they can’t count on that getting them through on a consistent basis.
Rick Carlisle is a master at making adjustments, and he’s probably going to get his team to play with a lot more physicality to muck up the free-flowing Spur offense that took over the game on Thursday night. The crowd is going to be crazy in Paris for tonight’s home game, so let’s see how the Spurs respond when the Pacers throw the first punch tonight. On Thursday night, the Spurs made a beautiful impressionist masterpiece, but today, they might have to be a little more unconventional, and build something more unconventional and chaotic.
A little pregame music to get you in the mood
This might be the most archetypical French piece of music ever, it’s over 4 minutes of mostly just heavy breathing. Sadly, Jane Birkin is no longer with us, as she passed away in 2023. But her bags will live on forever.
Allons-y Spurs!
Game Prediction:
Tony Parker is added to the roster and scores the last 10 points for les éperons.
One final word:
Allez les éperons allez!!!
