How singer Miley Cyrus maintains a beautiful figure and slim waist

At the age of 31, singer Miley Cyrus overwhelmed the audience and other artists with her slim and toned body when performing at the Grammy Awards. The performance became one of the most impressive and discussed moments after the event. How Miley stays in shape and her diet and exercise regimen have become hot topics of discussion.

Many sources say that she loves high-intensity exercises, a habit she has acquired since her marriage to ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. However, her daily practice is much easier to do. Miley is a loyal fan of Pilates. She has been pursuing this form of exercise since at least 2013, even building a separate room in her house just to practice Pilates.

Since its creation by instructor Joseph Pilates a century ago, Pilates has become widely popular as a total-body workout, especially among women who prefer low-impact exercises that focus on improving health. Improves core strength, flexibility and calms the mind.

In March 2020, during the first Covid-19 lockdown, Miley livestreamed a quick Pilates session with her trainer, Saul Choza. He guided Miley and fans through a series of five exercises to strengthen her core and stretch her legs. Other exercises include leg kicks, leg lifts, cross leg kicks, and hip raises. Coach Choza notes that beginners can repeat each set about 3 times, then gradually increase to 12 times.

Miley’s former trainer said she usually works out for half an hour, most days of the week, focusing on her legs and butt, followed by her abs. However, after divorcing Liam, Miley shortened her practice time to a few hours.

“Take time to rest, relax, enjoy warm meals and favorite sweets. Just exercising 15 to 20 minutes a day is better than nothing. Exercise is an important way to say love yourself,” Miley said.

Besides Pilates, Miley also practices meditation for a long time. In September 2016, on The Tonight Show, she shared about the Ashtanga method. This is an advanced yoga exercise, with a series of postures linked together by breathing, requiring a high level of physical strength, flexibility and endurance.

Miley Cyrus became famous in her teens for her role as Hannah Montana on Disney television. The American singer was once included in Time’s list of the 100 most influential people in 2008 and 2014. Her famous songs include: When I Look At You, We Can’t Stop, Wrecking Ball, Malibu .

At the world’s largest music awards ceremony , Grammy 2024, Miley Cyrus attracted attention with six nominations in important categories. The singer won two awards for Best Pop Solo and Record of the Year for the hit Flowers .
