How many Super Bowls has Patrick Mahomes won?

Mahomes has won three Super Bowls in his career. First, he defeated the 49ers in Super Bowl 54 in 2020, then beat the Eagles and San Francisco in back-to-back Super Bowls in 58 and 59 in 2023 and 2024.

The 29-year-old signal-caller has a 3-1 career record in Super Bowl contests, with his only loss coming against Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in Super Bowl 55 in 2021.

Tom Brady, of course, is the all-time leading NFL player in Super Bowl victories with seven in his career, six coming with the Patriots and one with the Buccaneers. The only other player in NFL history with at least five Super Bowl rings is Charles Haley, who won five titles in his career as a defensive end and linebacker with the 49ers and Cowboys.

Montana and Bradshaw are tied for second among quarterbacks with four Super Bowl championships each, as Montana won four with the 49ers and Bradshaw with the Steelers. Then, Mahomes is tied with former Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman for fourth with three Super Bowl rings each.

A win this year would not only put Mahomes tied for second, he would also come one step closer to potentially reaching Brady’s mark. At just 29 years old, Mahomes has potentially another decade or more of football to go in which he aim for Brady’s record.

Mahomes’s career playoff record is 16-3 with an .842 winning percentage, which is the best record among quarterbacks who have started at least 10 playoff games in their career. For comparison, Brady’s career playoff record is 35-13 with a .729 over a 23-year period.

A win on Sunday would be Mahomes’ 17th playoff win, which would pass Joe Montana for second-most in NFL history, as only Brady has more more with 35.
