Granit Xhaka Unwinds on a Yacht with His Spouse and Daughter in Dubai

Granit Xhaka, an Arsenal midfielder, posted photos of himself and his family lounging on a yacht in Dubai following Switzerland’s World Cup loss.

The thirty-year-old Arsenal player travelled to Qatar in excellent form for Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Additionally, he excelled in the Middle East, helping the Swiss advance to the round of 16 by defeating Cameroon and Serbia.

But then Portugal completely outmatched them, and they fell 6-1.

After Arsenal was eliminated from the competition on December 6, Xhaka had nearly three weeks to rest and recover before resuming his career with the club.

On Boxing Day, Arteta’s team returns to action against West Ham.

Before that, they have friendly matches scheduled with Milan in the UAE and Juventus back in the Emirates.

Even so, Xhaka’s recent social media posts featuring himself and his family make it obvious that he is enjoying his much-needed break from the pitch.

Leonita Lekaj, his spouse, who they married in 2017, went with him aboard the yacht.

He was joined on the holiday by his two daughters, one-year-old Laneya and three-year-old Ayana.

Xhaka hopes to help Arsenal maintain their five-point advantage over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League standings when he returns to action.

Since 2004, the Gunners have not won the league. Still, this may be their finest opportunity since then.

Following their December 26 meeting against West Ham, they will play home to Brighton and Newcastle, then on January 9, they will take on Oxford United in the FA Cup third round.
