“Getting enough sleep” is the secret to Ronaldo’s success

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have both had long and successful careers by applying a simple trick.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are two of the greatest football players in history. What’s even more surprising is that they’re still playing at the highest level.

Messi and Ronaldo’s extraordinary talent is undeniable, but it’s not just their skills that have helped them maintain their top careers for so long.

Their resilience is not only due to innate ability, but also to a healthy lifestyle and good nights sleep.

Sleep is important for any elite athlete, including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo .

Messi and Ronaldo are two legends of the “king sport”.

Dr Eduard Estivill, a sleep medicine expert, gave insight into this habit of stars like Messi and Ronaldo, on the Endor Podcast.

“For example, Messi sleeps a total of 11 hours a day,” says Dr. Estivill. “So does Ronaldo, he even has a sleep coach.”

“They use a lot of energy, so they need to recover every day. Many studies have also shown that one of the causes of muscle injuries is due to short sleep hours.”

Messi currently plays for Inter Miami in the MLS, and also won the 2024 Copa America with the Argentina national team.

Ronaldo still scores regularly in the Saudi Pro League for Al-Nassr Club.
