The Peninsula reports that the Dubai resident and football enthusiast started his journey on March 6, 2024.

Happiest moment ever for Civin

Civin covered approximately 1,200km over 36 days, braving the treacherous terrain and unforgiving weather on a challenging adventure to meet his idol.

When he reached the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Civin went to Al Awal Park, the home stadium of Al Nassr football club, where the team trains.

His persistence paid off when he successfully met Ronaldo, who stopped for a few seconds to greet and autograph his jersey.

A video captured the moment the Portuguese legend stopped his Bentley and signed Civin’s replica jersey, which he captioned, “The happiest ever.”

Anything for Cristiano Ronaldo

Reflecting on his experience, Civin explained that making the long journey showed his love and respect for the footballer.

“Meeting him for just two seconds and getting his signature was a life moment for me,” the excited fan said.

In recognition of his dedication to the team’s star player, Al Nassr officials hosted Civin and gifted him a hamper as a token of appreciation.

An overjoyed Civin shared a photo of himself posing with the gift hamper, expressing his happiness at the developments.

“Really a proud moment for my lifetime. Thank you, Al Nassr Club management for this appreciation. Hopefully, waiting for more,” he wrote.
