Explore the inside of the mobile gym with 18 tons of equipment from the Male God of Muscles

1. Up to 18 tons of equipment

Although this is a mobile gym, Iron Paradise is still “heavy” in the literal sense of its name. All gym equipment is transported by heavy duty 18 wheeler trucks. A total of 18 tons of equipment was carried to help Dwayne Johnson have a toned, muscular body. During the filming of his recent movie “Skyscaper”, Dwayne Johnson posted on social media to thank the entire staff for installing this portable gym in Vancouver (Canada), allowing him to work out in the morning. at 5 a.m. daily without having to go too far from the set.

2. There’s Not Only One Iron Paradise

Iron Paradise gym started at Dwayne Johnson’s home in Florida (USA). Not long after that, he installed other Iron Paradise gyms in the rest of his mansions.

3. It takes a large staff to set up/demolish the Iron Paradise gym

“The Rock” shared that each time transporting, installing or dismantling, cleaning gym equipment, it requires hundreds of people to contribute. Normally, Iron Paradise gym will be dismantled after the movie has finished filming.

4. Iron Paradise was born because “The Rock” doesn’t like working out in crowded gyms

At first, Iron Paradise was not a mobile gym, it was simply a personal home gym for “The Rock” to focus on training. The actor feels that exercising outside is too “chaotic” and takes up a lot of his time.

5. Iron Paradise is a “therapeutic solution” by Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson calls Iron Paradise a “longtime friend.” He shared it is very important in his life because exercising every morning will affect the quality of life throughout the day.

There is no denying that exercise is not only good for health but also helpful for the spirit, as it causes the brain to release dopamine and serotonin to help us feel happy, relaxed and excited.

6. Most of the training equipment is “handmade”

In order to ensure maximum performance in his style as well as his training needs, “The Rock” has ordered equipment on demand at a price that is not low at all. For example, the 30-pair Iron Grip dumbbell set costs nearly 500 million VND, with the heaviest weight being 70kg.

7. Iron Paradise is not equipped with a mirror

“The Rock” shared on his Instagram that Iron Paradise gym does not have a mirror, TV or even bottled energy / soft drinks like today’s gyms. The goal is for him to focus all his energy on training.

8. A “standard” kitchen right in the gym

For a person who works hard like “The Rock”, eating is also very important to him to ensure that his body is maintained in the best state. He has a very strict meal plan, so Iron Paradise has a kitchen for him to fully recharge in the fastest time.

9. There is no “hype man” in Iron Paradise

“Hype man” is a concept that only the coach will encourage, cheer or sometimes scold and blame the practitioner so that they try to practice more enthusiastically. Previously, “The Rock” also had such a coach, but after that, he just wanted to be alone to focus on the exercises.
