When it comes to Ronaldo and Messi, Antonio Cassano has given his own opinion, pointing out the big difference between innate talent and created talent. Sharing with Diario AS, Cassano said: ” Cristiano Ronaldo is a created talent . You can see it on social networks, where he does abs with his children.

There is a lot of talk about him, and less about Messi. But in football, they are two completely different things. CR7 is very strong, but he had to train a lot to have the talent he has today.

On the contrary, Messi is like Roger Federer, Michael Jordan, Diego Maradona. He is a phenomenon that we will never see again in this life , he has an immense talent that nature has given him. I often hear that Messi plays with outstanding stars at Barcelona.

I think of Xavi and Andres Iniesta, and initially Ronaldinho. But Messi also turned players like Pedro, Dani Alves, Javi Mascherano and many others into champions.”

Ultimately, the 42-year-old former player asserted that Messi’s contribution to his team was greater than what Ronaldo had shown.

Cassano concluded: “Messi has helped many other players develop thanks to his talent. Ronaldo’s goal is to score goals, and he is not interested in contributing to the team or assisting goals. Meanwhile, Messi helps the whole team develop and he is my idol.”

Cassano claims Messi contributes more to the game than Ronaldo

Up to this point, Messi has almost completed a huge collection of titles in his successful career. El Pulga has won the Champions League 4 times, 2 Copa America, most notably the 2022 World Cup and 8 times named in the Golden Ball race.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo also has a huge collection of titles with 5 Champions League titles, 5 Golden Balls and Euro 2016 championship. However, the World Cup title is the last perfect piece that CR7 is missing in his collection of titles, and this is most likely the final goal in the career of the 39-year-old superstar.
