Exclusive: Amidst His Much-Awaited NASCAR Launch, Hulk Hogan Lets Out The Rock & Co.’s Motivation in Alcohol Business

Following the success of the Xfinity Series Talladega race, Fan Controlled Sports, and EssentiallySports have once again partnered to feature on the No. 14 SS Green Light Racing Chevy, this time at Pocono Raceway. Once again, the fans have voted for Mason Massey to take the wheel behind the race car. But that’s not all! This time, WWE Hall of Famer and professional wrestling icon Hulk Hogan will also support this initiative, all the while promoting his newly launched beer brand, Real American Beer.

We’ve seen sports celebrities expand their business portfolio well beyond the confines of their field, courts, or tracks. Treading a similar path, Hulk Hogan is now trying to disrupt the beer market with his unique offering. However, his perspective behind launching a beer brand isn’t purely to reap the monetary rewards. In an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports, Hulk Hogan laid down his vision and ideas for embarking on this new entrepreneurial journey.

The inspiration behind the Real American Beer!

NASCAR’s iconic superstars, like Dale Earnhardt Jr. and team owner Michael Jordan, have their own spirit brands. Even Hogan’s WWE rival, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, owns a tequila brand, but none of these stars have tapped into the lucrative beer market. As things stand, Anheuser-Busch is currently dominating the preceding at NASCAR, as they have also been a long-term partner of the sport and multiple teams.

However, Hulk Hogan isn’t looking to follow the norm set by his predecessors. Instead, he is looking to grab the bull by the horns and “body-slam” the beer industry with his arrival!

In an exclusive interview with EssentiallySports’ Bharat Aggarwal, Hogan mentioned, “Sports celebrities have their own reasons; most like being in the spotlight, are competitive, like to entertain, and make money. I am an entrepreneur who loves people.”

“I saw an open lane in the beer industry with an opportunity to body slam the beer industry and help bring people together one beer at a time.”

Of course, NASCAR fans have several beer brands to pick one. So what sets Real American Beer apart from the competition?

Hulk Hogan is looking to lock horns against Busch Light

Like Busch Light, the Real American Beer will cater to consumers looking for an easy-drinking alcoholic beverage. The beer is crafted from 100% North American ingredients and is a 4.2% ABV light beer. However, it is not just about the ingredients either. As Hogan explained, “Its mission is based on Real American values with the goal to bring people together one beer at a time.“

The company will distribute the beer across 17 states this summer through several retail partners like Albertsons, Safeway, Sam’s Club, and Walmart. The 17 states include gigantic markets like Florida, Missouri, Minnesota, and Colorado. Significantly, he has launched in 4 states with 13 more in the pipeline.

Notably, his partnership with Fan Controlled Sports and EssentiallySports on the NASCAR stage will further drive the brand’s presence.
