Declan Rice and Mason Mount, both champions for England, continued to enjoy their summer vacations after the heartbreaking Euro 2020 final by substituting basketball for football.
The two individuals immediately embarked on a journey to the Greek island of Mykonos subsequent to England’s Euros final penalty shootout loss to Italy on July 11 at Wembley.
Over the weekend, Rice and Mount were observed in a restaurant in Mykonos, Greece, where they were joined by Three Lions teammates Luke Shaw and Kyle Walker in an enthusiastic rendition of Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline.
While Rice, Mount, and Shaw continued their summer vacation aboard a yacht, the Chelsea and West Ham midfielders engaged in some basketball.
A video was uploaded by the Hammers player featuring himself and his close companion Mount exchanging a one-two. In the video, Rice, who was wearing a Chicago Bulls ‘Deccers 23’ jersey, completes the exchange with a lay-up.
Additionally, Rice shared a video of himself effortlessly performing the reversed trιck-shot.

On Sunday, the 22-year-old also shared a photo of himself on the yacht with Mount and Shaw, accompanied by the caption “holiday vibes.”
On Saturday, Rice, Mount, and Shaw were observed dining at a long table while the sound system played a rendition of Diamond’s famous song, during which Mount and Shaw were observed pounding the table in time with the rhythm.
A topless Walker, clutching his shirt in one hand, approached the table with his arms extended as the pre-chorus began, encouraging his teammates to sing along.
Mount then joined in, to the laughter of Shaw and the waving of Walker’s shirt over his head. While Mount and Walker joyfully sang the chorus, Rice captured the performance on his smartphone.
Former Love Island contestant Josh Denzel, who served as the primary host of the official England media team’s daily Three Lions show throughout the tournament, developed cordial relationships with a number of players while conducting interviews and filming at their tables.
Sweet Caroline became the unofficial anthem of Euro 2020 and the soundtrack to England’s summer when, following their semi-final victory over Denmark, Gareth Southgate’s squad approached the supporters at Wembley and bellowed out the song.
Several other Three Lions players, including Jack Grealish, Kalvin Phillips, Ben Chilwell, and Ben White, reportedly jetted to Mykonos on a blokes’ holiday on Friday to alleviate their Euro sorrow, according to Sportsmail.
