With 6,000 Starlink satellites orbiting the Earth, billionaire Elon Musk has made statements related to UFOs and extraterrestrial civilizations.
Aliens, or extraterrestrial beings, have long been a hypothesis that has deeply ingrained in our imaginations, as well as our thinking about how the universe works.
To date, views on aliens are divided into two main streams, including support and opposition. SpaceX CEO and founder Elon Musk has not made his opinion clear, but has affirmed that aliens have never visited Earth.
This opinion was given at a conference titled “How to Save Humanity and Other Issues”, organized by the Milken Institute on May 7.
During the conference, Elon Musk showed interest in the question of the House Speaker and investor Michael Milken about missions to search for extraterrestrial life, as well as the presence of these creatures around us.
CEO Elon Musk believes that the idea of sending probes into space is to search for the remains of long-dead alien civilizations.
The American billionaire also explained why he does not believe in the theory that aliens have ever visited Earth.
According to Musk, SpaceX owns a system of 6,000 Starlink satellites, which are like “eyes” in low orbit, but has never found any convincing evidence of extraterrestrial life, nor traces of any unusual flying objects (UFOs).
“I have not seen any evidence of aliens,” billionaire Elon Musk emphasized. “With 6,000 satellites in orbit, we have never had to move to avoid a UFO.”
“If someone has evidence of aliens, you know, I’d love to see it, and I’d love to hear about it,” Musk added.
However, the SpaceX CEO still appreciates the effort to search for extraterrestrial civilizations. According to him, even if an ancient civilization can only survive for a million years, it can still easily solve many problems, even provide an explanation for the formation of the universe.
Once again, when asked about the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations, Musk simply said that “it could exist.”
“We should really think of human civilization as a small candle in the vast darkness. All life around us is uncertain and extremely rare,” Musk said.
