Ronaldo scores yet again as Al Nassr claim narrow victory over Al Ahli

Cristiano Ronaldo continued his impressive goalscoring form with the decisive strike in Al Nassr’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Al Ahli on Thursday.

The Portuguese superstar netted his 30th goal of the season to secure all three points for Al Nassr and solidify their position as second-placed contenders in the Saudi Professional League.

The match was a closely contested affair with both teams creating chances but it was Ronaldo who stepped up to make the difference.

Al Nassr started brightly and went close in the 10th minute when Anderson Talisca’s curling effort from outside the box crashed against the crossbar.

Al Ahli responded with a chance of their own in the 25th minute when Mohamed Kanoo’s teasing cross found Omar Al Soma at the back post but the striker’s header went wide.

The game continued to ebb and flow with neither team able to find a breakthrough.

And just when it looked like the match was heading for a goalless draw, Ronaldo produced a moment of magic in the 72nd minute.

The Portuguese superstar was played through on goal by a delightful through ball from Tarek Hany and he made no mistake, slotting the ball past the Al Ahli goalkeeper with a clinical finish.

Al Ahli tried to find an equalizer in the dying minutes but Al Nassr’s resolute defense held firm to secure a crucial victory.

The win takes Al Nassr to within two points of league leaders Al Ittihad with just five games remaining in the season.

Ronaldo’s relentless goalscoring form continues

Cristiano Ronaldo’s strike against Al Ahli marked his 30th goal of the season in all competitions, further cementing his position as the top scorer in the Saudi Professional League.

The Portuguese superstar has been in scintillating form this season, finding the back of the net with remarkable consistency.

His latest goal against Al Ahli was a testament to his never-ending hunger for goals, as he popped up at the right time to deliver the decisive blow.

Ronaldo’s goalscoring exploits have been instrumental in Al Nassr’s title challenge this season, and with five games remaining, the club will be hoping for their talisman to continue his goalscoring spree to guide them to the coveted trophy.

Al Nassr close the gap on Al Ittihad

Al Nassr’s hard-fought victory over Al Ahli has seen them close the gap on league leaders Al Ittihad to just two points.

The win has put Al Nassr back in the driving seat for the title, and they will now be looking to build on this momentum in the remaining games of the season.

Al Ittihad, however, will not be giving up without a fight, and the title race is set to go down to the wire in what promises to be an exciting climax to the Saudi Professional League season.
