The Al Nassr forward returned to his home country this week for international duty after missing the last friendly against Sweden.

Ronaldo played all 90 minutes of Tuesday’s 2-0 loss away in Slovenia, but failed to contain his emotions following Portugal’s defeat.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner threw a tantrum after the Euro 2016 winners lost for the first time under Roberto Martinez’s tutelage.

However, Ronaldo can console himself with his newly acquired Ferrari that he took for a spin while back in Portugal.

The 39-year-old was captured pulling up in the iconic red car at the Four Seasons Hotel, before joining his international teammates.

The fast footage was shared on Instagram by an account called Lisbon Cars, who dubbed the vehicle ‘CR7 newest spaceship’.

Only 599 units of the Ferrari Daytona SP3 were released, which can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.85 seconds.

Ronaldo is a well-known fan of the luxury Italian brand, having splashed £500k on a blue Ferrari Purosangue SUV earlier this year.
