Takeoff, 28, a member of the hip-hop trio Migos, was shot in the head and torso according to a coroner’s report. He was pronounced dead at the scene in the early hours of the morning.
Houston Police Department Sgt. Michael Burrow said: ‘We were able to deduce that Patrick Clark is the lethal shooter in the case, and that’s why he’s being charged with murder.’
Burrow said the shooting occurred after an argument exploded following a dice game: ‘I can tell you that Takeoff was not involved in playing in the dice game, he was not involved in the argument that happened outside.
‘He was not armed, he was an innocent bystander.’ Houston Police Chief Troy Finner added: ‘Definitely wrong place at the wrong time, no evidence whatsoever to say anything different.
