Cardi B, Grammy-winning rapper and all-around superstar, is a mom of two children whom she can’t live without. On Feb. 20, she tweeted a mirror selfie of herself cuddling her children with the caption, “All I need in this life of sin.”
In September 2021, the rapper announced she’d given birth to her second child with husband Offset in a super-sweet Instagram post that showed the couple holding their son Wave. Cardi is also mother to one sweet little girl, Kulture Kiari. The big sister has clearly been the center of both artists’ worlds (and Cardi’s nails) and has been happy to share the spotlight with her baby sibling.
Cardi first announced her second pregnancy during a BET Awards performance in June 2021, but she had previously talked about wanting to add to her family one day. Speaking to “Entertainment Tonight” in February 2019, Cardi revealed: “I want to have more kids. Whatever my body can take, and I feel like I can take it.”
Offset, who makes up one-third of the popular hip-hop trio Migos, is also father to three other children — Jordan, Kody, and Kalea Marie — making them Kulture’s half-siblings. Read through the gallery ahead for some of Kulture and Wave’s cutest moments.
Cardi B and Offset’s first child together, a daughter named Kulture, was born on July 10, 2018. Her middle name, Kiari, is her dad’s first name.
On the eve of Kulture’s second birthday, Cardi shared a sweet photo of her girl, writing: “My baby turn 2 tomorrow 😓I been a emotional mess. Love her so much.” The following day, the family celebrated Kulture’s birthday with an L.O.L. Surprise-themed party.
While waiting for her younger sibling to arrive, Kulture proved that she was ready to be a big sis. Cardi shared a touching video of Kulture kissing her mom’s baby bump and saying, “My baby is cute.”
In July 2023, Cardi celebrated Kulture’s fifth birthday with not one but two lavish parties. “My baby is five,” Cardi wrote on Instagram. “Happy birthday to my pretty princess. It’s beautiful seeing my girl grow yet makes me a lil sad that my baby is not my little baby no more.”
