Referee Francois Letexier assessed Saka’s challenge during a counterattack by the Real Madrid player.

Carvajal rolled his hands near his eyes in an apparent attempt to convey his displeasure with Saka’s response.

Cameras captured the action, and the defender’s performance left spectators unimpressed.

A commenter said, “Carvajal is a troll.

“A second commented: “He might regret that.”

A third wrote: “That’s an own goal Carvajal.”

A fourth said: “He will be the one to cry soon.”

Another added: “He’s so unlikeable.”

After Spain won the match 2-1, Carvajal was seen on camera making fun of Saka during the first half of the match.

After Cole Palmer came off the bench to tie the Three Lions, Mikel Oyarzabal scored the game-winning goal with just four minutes remaining.

Gary Neville, meantime, was taken aback by Roy Keane’s commendation of Gareth Southgate.

Neville stated that Keane had never praised Ian Wright or himself in the same way.Presenter Laura Woods and newly appointed Prime Minister Sir Kier Starmer grew close over their shared passion for Arsenal earlier on ITV.

After learning of Rio Ferdinand’s strategy to stop Lamine Yamal, Gary Lineker of the BBC criticised Rio Ferdinand for “child cruelty”.
