Sharing with NOW, CR7 said: “I don’t know if I will retire early, but I plan to retire within 2-3 years. Maybe, I will retire in the Al Nassr club shirt.

I am very happy at this club. I also feel comfortable in Saudi Arabia. I want to continue playing here.”

Many people think that C. Ronaldo should retire from the Portuguese national team after Euro 2024. However, the 39-year-old striker does not think so. He added: “When I leave the national team, I will not tell anyone in advance. It will be my spontaneous decision at some point. But before that, I will spend a long time considering.

At the moment, I still want to contribute to the national team in the upcoming matches. First, we will compete in the Nations League. I really want to play in that tournament. After retiring, I don’t think I will become a coach of any team.

I haven’t even thought about it. I don’t see myself being a coach. I’ll do other things outside football but only God knows what the future holds.”

This season, C. Ronaldo scored in the opening match of the Saudi Arabian national championship against Al Raed but Al Nassr still could not win. In September, he will have two matches with the Portuguese team in the Nations League against Croatia and Scotland.
