According to TMZ , the commemorative shoes are about to be auctioned , and even though they are very old, anyone who wants to own them will have to spend a large sum of money.
TMZ reports that the black-and-white Jumpman Swift 6s — which James wore when he won a state title as a freshman playing for St. Vincent-St. Mary in Akron, Ohio — will be auctioned off. The shoes are considered extremely rare, so they are expected to fetch a starting price of $200,000.

According to Heritage Auctions, which will organize the auction, LeBron James’ sneakers were given to him by his stepfather Eddie Jackson in 2000.
LeBron James added a line of text on both size 14 shoes, writing his jersey number “23” as well as “1999 – 2000 State Games.”
The shoes will also come with their original boxes, the auction house said. The auction house said LeBron James’ shoes are “one-of-a-kind” and are among the few game-worn items from the superstar’s early career that still exist.
LeBron James is playing for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA with a huge salary of 44.5 million USD/season. This 37-year-old star is considered one of the legends in the history of American basketball.
