Bad Bunny is going home. The artist announced his first-ever residency, at Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, via an Instagram post Monday, Jan. 13.
“
Thanks to music and the love you give me through my music, I’ve had the privilege of traveling to sing in different places of the world. I appreciate and love to do it,” the artist, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio
, continued. “There are places I for sure will return to like Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia. And some I’ve never been to but would like to visit, like Brazil and Japan.
“And there are places I haven’t been to in a long time, like Italy, London, Spain — I know — and I promise before the year ends, I’ll tell you the date and time I will be visiting. But for now, I’m in Puerto Rico. I’m home, having fun and, to be honest, I don’t want to leave.”
Bad Bunny’s announcement comes on the heels of the highly successful release of his latest studio album, “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS” (available on
, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music and Youtube) and a string of media appearances which saw Benito moonlight as a news anchor on Wapa TV’s NotiCentro al Amanecer, a director at Telemundo’s Alexandra a las 12 and a co-host on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (he got Fallon to try pitorro de coco— bienvenidos y ten cuidao Jimmy.)
Benito’s 2025 residency, appropriately titled “No me quiero ir de aqui”, or “I don’t want to leave here,” starts Friday July 11, at el Choli (Coliseo de Puerto Rico). Shows in July will be open to residents of Puerto Rico only.

Residents of Puerto Rico can purchase pre-sale tickets in person for the following shows, starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15:

- Sunday, July 20
Pre-sale tickets for shows slated for July 25, 26 and 27 will be sold online at a date to be announced. These shows are limited to Puerto Rico residents only.
