‘Back on the Emirates pitch, unfortunately not in my boots 😅’ According to Theo Walcott, he did at Arsenal what Thierry Henry and Bukayo Saka couldn’t

Former Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has recently claimed that he was able to accomplish something that Thierry Henry and Bukayo Saka were not.

Theo Walcott was noted for his agility during his time at Arsenal. At his peak, the 35-year-old was extraordinarily fast. He scored 108 goals for the Gunners in 397 games across all competitions, terrorising rival defences with his lightning-fast pace.

Despite Walcott’s inconsistent crossing and finishing, his pace ensured the Gunners could always find a dangerous gap to exploit.

Former Arsenal player Theo Walcott makes a brazen claim on his speed. The 47-cap former England international was registered with North London from 2006 to 2018. However, he returned to hаunt his former squad in 2023 after Mikel Arteta’s team’s dreams of winning the Premier League were dashed by his goal for Southampton. Walcott admitted lately that he still has a lot of Arsenal fans who are not very forgiving of him for that goal.

Upon reflection of his career, Walcott has stated which players he was quicker than when he was at his best. In a video that was uploaded on X, Nubaid Haroon—the former Arsenal player—was given a roster of celebrities to compete against for speed. Gareth Bale, Kylian Mbappe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Erling Haaland, Micky van de Ven, Vinicius Jr., and Marcus Rashford were among the players Walcott claimed to have outpaced.

Walcott claimed that among the current Arsenal players, he might be better than Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. In reality, this season’s quickest sprint pace was set by Ben White, sporting an Arsenal shirt.

“I beаt Thierry Henry’s record when I was at Arsenal, so definitely me,” Walcott remarked, referring to the venerable fireаrm. It’s true what they sаy.

Only three names—Adama Traore, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Kyle Walker—among the twenty that were given to him, according to Walcott.

Martinelli’s lightning-fast speed allows him to have the same kind of impact on the current Arsenal team that Walcott had. After a somewhat lacklustre campaign, the Brazilian winger is keen to prove to everyone just how important he can be going forward.
