Avril Lavigne will revisit The Best Damn Thing and her best damn songs on the upcoming compilation album Greatest Hits, out June 21. The record will span two decades of releases from the musician, beginning with her 2002 debut, Let Go, and extending through 2022’s Love Sux.

“Can’t do a greatest hits tour without a greatest hits album,” Lavigne wrote on Instagram. The accompanying Greatest Hits tour was announced in January. Kicking off on May 22, the stretch of shows will feature special guests All Time Low and Simple Plan.

The comment section beneath Lavigne’s latest post is currently flooded with fans expressing disappointment that the announcement wasn’t specifically for an anniversary edition of 2004’s Under My Skin, which will hit the 20-year mark on May 25.

But the announcement of Greatest Hits arrives alongside news that extended editions of four of the singer’s albums — Under My Skin, Best Damn Thing, Goodbye Lullaby, and Avril Lavigne — will be released on 12″ vinyl for the first time with bonus tracks previously only available online.

The album track list opens with back-to-back hits, from “Sk8er Boi,” “Girlfriend,” and “What the Hell” to “Complicated” and “Don’t Tell Me.” The album will also highlight Lavigne’s collaborations with Yungblud (“I’m a Mess”), Machine Gun Kelly (“Bois Lie”), and Blackbear (“Love It When You Hate Me.” The remainder of the 20-song album highlights “Here’s to Never Growing Up,” “Nobody’s Home,” “When You’re Gone,” “Smile,” and more.

“This is gonna be too much stupid fun celebrating my career with my friends and fans,” Lavigne wrote on Instagram when announcing the Greatest Hits tour. “Who’s coming???? What songs do you want to hear???”
