The cute moment comes ahead of their collab for Grande’s “Yes, And?” remix
Ariana Grande is paying homage to Mariah Carey in the most fashionable way possible!
On Thursday, a photo surfaced of the Wicked star, 30, wearing her signature oversized T-shirt and knee-high boot combo, but this time her look was extra special.
The front of Grande’s brown T-shirt featured a photo of Carey, 54, from her 1997 album, Butterfly — which gave lambs across the world hits such as “Honey,” “My All,” “Breakdown” and “The Beautiful Ones,” a cover of Prince’s 1984 song of the same name.
“She ate,” Carey tweeted in response to a fan page that posted the image of the “7 Rings” singer supporting the icon.
The photo was shared on social media just one day after the duo announced they would be reuniting for the remix of Grande’s latest single “Yes, And?” featuring Carey.
“I cannot believe the words i am typing,” the “Dangerous Woman” hitmaker captioned a joint Instagram post of herself pictured with the “Always Be My Baby” songstress.

In the upload, both blondes wore coordinating black outfits while resting their heads on one another as they stared into the camera.
“Yes, And? Remix feat the one and only, queen of my heart and lifelong inspiration @mariahcarey is out this friday !!!!!!!!!!!” Grande’s announcement continued.

She added that the musical collaboration was a “dream come true.”
“Darling angel, I am so effing excited to be joining you on the yes, and? remix!! This is such a magical moment!! Love you ❤️ MC,” Carey commented on the post.
Mariah Carey Responds to Ariana Grande’s Birthday Wishes as She Celebrates Her ‘Anniversary’
“Yes, And?” marks the first track off of Grande’s forthcoming seventh album.
She’s already released the Christian Breslauer-directed music video, which seemingly serves as a response to critics, with the talent appearing to compare her life to performance art.
It is not immediately known if she and Carey will also release a music video for the upcoming remix.
The last time the ladies collaborated on a song was in 2020 with the help of American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson. The trio came together to record their holiday hit “Oh Santa.”

Carey’s twins Moroccan and Monroe also made an appearance in the music video.
In December, Grande and Hudson, 42, joined Carey for a surprise performance of “Oh Santa” during Carey’s Merry Christmas One and All! Tour stop at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
