A huge star just appeared on a podcast and fans have been left stunned by a big difference.
Pop singer Ariana Grande has shocked people over how much her look and voice have changed in only five years.
Grande popped onto the popular podcast The Zach Sang Show to promote her upcoming album Eternal Sunshine.
Grande and Sang have had a friendly relationship for years, and only five years ago, she appeared on his podcast to discuss everything from her ex, Pete Davidson, to her music.
Now she’s back, and so much has changed.
The singer looks drastically different; she’s swapped a very dark tan to embrace her natural porcelain skin. She’s ditched the brunette for blonde and gone for a far more natural makeup look.
Her looks weren’t the only thing that was attracting attention. The way she spoke had also noticeably changed; she speaks with a slight English accent these days.
The pop singer had just spent months filming the musical Wicked in the United Kingdom, and that was enough to get the Florida native talking differently.
The updates were enough to send fans in a spiral.
One fan took to TikTok and clarified that while she thinks it is expected to change and evolve, Grande had practically “shapeshifted” with her new look.
“You can even notice the little accent she has when she says words like ‘parody’ that she’s never had before,” she pointed out.

Online people were divided and were either talking about her accent or her new look, but the vibe was baffled.
One person wrote that Grande had just debuted a “new” accent, and another called the interview “insane” because of how much Grande’s accent had changed.
Someone else said they “loved” the pop singer but were confused about what happened to their accent, and another claimed her voice was now “transatlantic.”
One fan noted that it was cute that she was still talking like her character Glinda in the upcoming Wicked.

As for her looks, those have been discussed for a while now; in recent years, Grande has ditched her over-the-top look for a more refined one, but this interview really enforced how much her overall look has changed.
Online people posted direct comparison photos of her on Sang’s podcast in 2019 and are now appearing again in 2024, and it did highlight how much the singer had changed.
“Wow,” someone commented.
“That is a crazy different,” another claimed.
“She’s not even the same person,” one joked.
Another said that the pop singer had stopped tanning and actually didn’t look that different, and someone else told her the look was just a sign of “maturing”, and she wasn’t in her twenties anymore, and that was a regular part of getting older.
