PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix police say a woman is injured after a shooting that has officers searching a motel off Interstate 17 for a suspect on Wednesday.
Details are limited, but officers tell Arizona’s Family it happened at the Knights Inn off the McDowell Road exit around 11 a.m.
Police say officers arrived and found a woman who had been shot at least once. The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities say they are clearing multiple rooms at the motel as the scene remains “active” as of 2:30 p.m.
No other information has been released.
