01:12 PM EST Apple announced the new iPhone 16e, offering fast performance with its A18 chip and Apple-designed C1 cellular modem. The device features Apple Intelligence, providing privacy-focused personal AI assistance.
Its 48MP Fusion camera with integrated 2x telephoto allows for high-quality zoom, and satellite-based features like Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance enhance connectivity in remote areas.
Available in matte black and white, the iPhone 16e will open for pre-orders on February 21, with sales beginning February 28. Apple VP Kaiann Drance said the 16e offers breakthrough battery life and fast performance for more users.
