Season series: Suns lead 2-0
Phoenix won 116-109 in the most recent meeting Dec. 15 in the Valley of the Sun. The Suns have won each meeting this season, but only by an average margin of 6.5 points. The Blazers have covered both games as a double-digit underdog while the Under has cashed in each battle.
The Suns have won 4 in a row in this series, while going 6-1 straight up (SU) in the past 7 outings, while Portland is 4-1 against the spread (ATS) in the previous 5 meetings. The Under is 4-1 in the past 5 in the series, while going 8-2 in the past 10 since March 2, 2022.
The Suns have won 4 of the past 5 games, while alternating covers and non-covers in the previous 8 outings since Jan. 16. The Over has hit in the past 2 games, but the Under has a 4-2 edge in the past 6 contests.
For the Blazers, they’ve surprised with 6 victories in the past 7 games, while covering all 7 games since Jan. 19. The Under is 3-1-1 in the past 5 outings, too.

Suns at Trail Blazers picks and predictions
Prediction
Suns 112, Trail Blazers 108
Moneyline
The SUNS (-170) are worth a look as a moderate road favorite despite the fact the Trail Blazers (+140) have been playing tremendous basketball lately.
Phoenix is completely healthy, and it has won the first 2 meetings with Portland, albeit both meetings this season were at Footprint Center.
While the Blazers have been impressive lately, it’s a concern that Grant carries a questionable tag into this one.
Against the spread
The SUNS -3.5 (-115) are worth a look, as they should be able to get the job done by at least 2 buckets.
There is risk here, so go lightly. The Trail Blazers +3.5 (-105) are on a 7-game cover streak, but, again, there is concern with Grant, a key cog in the frontcourt, carrying a questionable tag into this one.
Over/Under
UNDER 226.5 (-110) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at the most.
The Under has cashed in 4 of the past 6 games for the Suns, scoring 113 or fewer points in 4 of the outings during the span. Phoenix has allowed 109 or fewer points in 4 of those games, too.
For the Blazers, the Under is on a 3-1-1 run in the past 5 games, with Portland scoring 119 or fewer points in 16 of the past 17. On defense, Portland has stepped up lately, allowing 112 or fewer points in 6 of the previous 7 outings.
