Benji Madden is celebrating two milestones with one cute couple photo of him and Cameron Diaz. On Thursday, the Good Charlotte rocker belatedly commemorated the couple’s 10-year wedding anniversary while also praising his wife’s return to acting with a very sweet—and very rare—post on Instagram.
“This is my QUEEN ❤️ I celebrate this BAD ASS WOMAN . Wife, Mommy, friend, partner, Boss, and lover. We just hit 10 YEARS married on January 5th and every year only gets more fulfilling,” Madden wrote alongside a photo of Diaz in a silver dress and a red lip, as well as an adorable selfie of the pair at the beach. In the second snapshot, Diaz wore a white T-shirt with minimal makeup and her blonde, windswept waves parted down the middle, while Madden sported a black Chrome Hearts trucker hat with a black shirt and a diamond chain necklace.

“It’s special. Never perfect-always real-always reliable,” he said of his marriage to Diaz, adding: “Every day getting to have my best friend with me ride or die….what a beautiful life-I am GRATEFUL!!! 🙏.”
Madden concluded his post by congratulating Diaz for starring in her first movie in a more than a decade, Back in Action. “And ANOTHER MiLESTONE happening TOMORROW!!! We are SO happy to see you….BACK IN ACTION!!….Congrats baby!!❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉 @camerondiaz ❤️ GO watch it on @netflix 😛😛🤘🤘🤘🎉.”

In a recent behind-the-scenes interview with Netflix, Diaz revealed that she took a step back from her acting career to focus on her family. “That was what I was putting most of my focus on,” said Diaz, who shares two kids—Raddix, 5, and Cardinal, 10 months—with Madden. “If I was doing anything other than just sort of being a mom and living my day-to-day. That was pretty much it. I’m just trying to stay alive just like every other mother. I’m just trying to keep it going.”

However, Madden was partly responsible for pushing Diaz to come out of retirement. “[He] was like, ‘You’ve been supporting us and building the family,’” the actress previously told E! News of her husband’s support. “He’s like, ‘It’s time for us to support you and let Mommy ascend and do her thing.'”
