Milwaukee Bucks vs. Orlando Magic Preview: It’s been a spell

The Milwaukee Bucks continue their four-game homestand tonight with a SEGABABA against the Orlando Magic. It’s their third of four meetings this season and the Bucks lead the series 2-0.

Where We’re At

A 47-point (!) first quarter powered the Bucks to a win against the white-hot Sacramento Kings. Giannis’ triple-double led the charge in a well-balanced effort that featured impeccable ball movement. It did well to wash out the taste of a bomb against New York that featured some of the hallmarks of how to lose in the NBA in 2025 (e.g., shooting fewer threes at a worse clip than your opponent), but still presented concerns of future success against this particular group of Knicks.

Orlando has only played once since Friday’s tilt against Milwaukee, beating Philadelphia on Sunday. Paolo Banchero put up 20 points with a +18, an interesting contrast to Jonathan Isaac’s 20 points on +1 and Cole Anthony’s team-high 27 points on -6.

Injury Report

Expect Khris to play after resting the first game in the back-to-back. Otherwise, check the game thread for any updates.

It’s a mouthful for the Magic: Gary Harris, Jalen Suggs, and the Wagners all out, Jett Howard doubtful, and Goga Bitadze and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope questionable.

Player To Watch

As per this week’s Tuesday Tracker, my eyes are on Khris Middleton: his minutes, his performance, his role.
