Following the announcement earlier this year that Liverpool will look to end their collaboration with Nike in favour of a return to Adidas, speculation has arisen about what next season’s shirts may look like.

Alongside a Trefoil logo which will replace the iconic three-stripe logo, the Reds will play with a classic Liverpool crest as opposed to the new streamlined club logo or the official formal logo.

Emblazoned with a black and white trim, the ‘sea green’ third kit will debut in the 2025-26 season with only ‘minor details’ set to differ from the leak to the official announcement next year.

After partnerships in 1985-96 and 2006-12, this would be Liverpool’s third deal with Adidas, a sign of great joy to fans who have heavily missed the nostalgic colours the brand used in their kits.

Liverpool legend slams Alexander-Arnold over defending comments

Local boy Trent Alexander-Arnold seems to have moved into a higher gear at the start of this season.

The right-back has taken on his vice-captaincy with aplomb, representing the club well and registering two assists so far – not to mention being crucial to the playing style in the Arne Slot transition period.

Whilst his attacking output has always been his main strength, his actual defensive capabilities have become increasingly under fire over the past few years. As such, the player’s recent comments that he would like to become the defender in Europe that ‘no one wants to come up against’ should rightfully be welcomed.

Speaking on the ESPN FC show, former Liverpool man Steve Nicol was left totally bemused, saying “It’s taken you that long to figure this out?”

Liverpool Academy handed major injury boost as heroic Barcelona duo return

Slot appears reluctant to sell Kelleher before the deadline

Liverpool have been boosted by the return of a promising duo, who both played their part in the club’s legendary 4-0 victory over Barcelona.

With Arne Slot deciding that the U21 team should train with the first time as frequently as possible, we saw the return of two of the club’s brightest stars.

Both Oakley Cannonier and Josh Davidson were among the players coming out to train, which is a huge boost for both the U21 side and the first team.

Both had been out with significant injuries across the summer, and while Cannonier is still in recovery, Davidson is already back to the action in Liverpool’s latest Premier League 2 contest.
