Ronaldo reached 1 billion followers on social media in mid-September

According to statistics, after only 90 minutes of opening the channel, Ronaldo received 1 million subscriptions, after 1 day it reached 18 million, and after 1 month it reached more than 62 million.

In mid-September, Ronaldo became the first celebrity in the world to reach 1 billion followers on social media platforms. Specifically, Ronaldo has more than 639 million followers on Instagram (the most in the world), more than 170.5 million followers on Facebook, more than 113 million followers on X (formerly Twitter) and 60.5 million followers on Youtube.

Ronaldo’s involvement with YouTube has certainly made the service the channel with the most video views from users in the world, surpassing Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Ronaldo’s YouTube channel has posted more than 40 pieces of content, covering a variety of topics related to him, from daily life, family, training and eating habits, to conversations with famous football figures.

Ronaldo said: “I had this idea for a long time, but only last year did I feel the need to open a channel. YouTube allows me to connect with millions of fans around the world in the same way, regardless of their age or where they come from. I want them to see how I train, my nutrition, my lifestyle, my conversations with friends, not just about football but also outside of it.

I personally want to share my moments outside of football, and that makes me think that opening a channel is the most appropriate time. Will the amount of content increase? That is for sure and also depends on the “requests” of the fans. I owe them this for their encouragement and companionship in my career.”
