Ronaldo still trains hard even when he’s out, rumors spread that Roma boss helped Mourinho reunite with CR7

Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is heating up again as AS Roma is determined to bring the MU superstar back to Italy to join his old teacher Jose Mourinho.

While MU is still reeling from transfer rumors, their biggest star, Cristiano Ronaldo, is on vacation with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and his 5 children on the island of Majorca (Spain).

Ronaldo works hard even though he is on summer vacation

Yesterday (June 24), on his personal Instagram page, which has attracted more than 459 million subscribers, the 37-year-old superstar posted a photo of himself practicing shooting on the training ground to maintain his fitness during this “relaxation” occasion. Ronaldo also attached an icon of a ball, a person running and the hashtag “Done”.

While CR7 is still working hard during his summer vacation in Majorca, his future is a hot topic in the press. Despite scoring 24 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions last season for MU, Ronaldo still could not help the team get a ticket to the Champions League next season.

The superstar who owns 5 “Golden Balls” is quite impatient as coach Erik Ten Hag’s team still has no new players this summer and he is ready to leave if the above situation does not improve soon.

Jorge Mendes, Ronaldo’s trusted agent, has approached Bayern Munich in the hope of helping his client land at the Allianz Arena. However, the Bavarian giants are not interested in the Portuguese star because he is 37 years old and currently earns 31 million euros/year at MU.

Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, has also just confirmed in the press that the rumor that Bayern wants to sign Ronaldo is false. Meanwhile, Italian radio station Retesport confirmed that AS Roma is “doing everything” to get Ronaldo.

Former defender Fabio Petruzzi revealed in an interview with a Rome-based radio station: “I know for sure from someone who is very respected in the football world that Roma are trying in every way possible to get Cristiano Ronaldo. There will be some details to be finalized in this deal, especially regarding image rights. CR7 will leave Man United.”

Fabio Petruzzi promises Roma will do everything to get CR7

Ronaldo spent three seasons playing for Juventus, where he scored 101 goals in 134 games and won two Scudettos. If he plays for AS Roma, the Madeira-born superstar will have the opportunity to reunite with coach Jose Mourinho, his former compatriot who he worked with at Real Madrid from 2010-2013.

Meanwhile, Sportbible reported that AS Roma’s director in charge of transfers, Tiago Pinto, has a close relationship with Ronaldo. This person could persuade the striker wearing the number 7 shirt of MU to leave England to go to Italy to play for the “Wolves” this summer.

However, an obstacle for AS Roma is that they, like MU, will not qualify for the Champions League next season. Ronaldo’s salary is huge and if he can really “afford” this to help coach Mourinho reunite with his old student, the “Giallorossi” will really cause a shock in the transfer window before the 2022/23 season.
