During the questioning session, witnesses made many statements before Congress related to UFOs and UAPs, revealing many mysteries.
Amid growing reports of UFO and UAP sightings, the House Oversight Committee held a hearing on unidentified anomalous phenomena, national security, and foreign affairs in Washington, DC on July 26.
UFO is unidentified flying object, while UAP is unidentified aerial phenomenon.
The three key witnesses at the congressional hearing included Ryan Graves, David Fravor, two former Navy pilots who reported encounters with UFOs in military training airspace, and David Grusch, a former Pentagon intelligence officer.
Revealing many mysteries
During the questioning session, witnesses made many statements to Congress regarding UFOs and UAPs; at the same time, the House of Representatives also requested that the US Government and Department of Defense need to be transparent with the people on issues related to technology of unknown origin or unidentified flying phenomena.
“The American public has a right to learn about unknown technologies, non-human intelligence, and unexplained phenomena,” said Rep. Jared Moskowitz.
Any disclosures must be done carefully, Moskowitz said, pointing out that the existence of stealth helicopter technology was not made public by the government before it emerged during the 2011 raid on a compound of Osama bin Laden, the founder of the Islamist militant group Al-Qaeda.
“We cannot allow that to be used as a shield to keep the American people completely in the dark about basic truths,” Moskowitz asserted.
David Grusch, one of the witnesses, asserted that the United States is in complete possession of “non-human biological means and drugs.” He used the term “non-human” instead of aliens.
“I have been informed of the existence of a decades-long ‘UAP Incident Retrieval and Reverse Engineering Program,’” he said.
Grusch was a member of the Pentagon’s UAP Task Force from 2019 to 2021. But he was not given access to it, and Grusch was later exposed and had to file a complaint.
“The whistleblower complaint is based on information that I have been provided, gathered from employees who have served our country, and have served long-term in the UAP Task Force,” he shared.
Many of them shared compelling evidence such as photos, official documents or testimonies.”
In addition, the United States is also in possession of non-human biological drugs recovered from the scenes of UFO-related accidents.
During his questioning of the former intelligence official, Rep. Moskowitz asked: “Do you have any knowledge of space programs, undisclosed advanced technology, photographic evidence, or testing sites for these devices?”
Grusch replied: “These programs exist, outside of congressional oversight, I cannot present my evidence in an open environment like this.”
David Grusch joined the Pentagon to analyze UAP sightings, where he was informed of a program to recover and reconstruct crashed spacecraft.
“This program has been running for decades, the US government has covered it up,” he shared.
Regarding extraterrestrial life, David Grusch stated: “It is possible that the United States has been aware of ‘non-human’ activity since the 1930s.”
The Pentagon immediately denied the government’s cover-up claims that Mr. Grusch shared during the hearing.
“Investigators have not uncovered any verifiable information to support past or present claims,” said Defense Department spokeswoman Sue Gough.
President Joe Biden’s administration is facing calls to declassify UFO-related documents. The Senate has introduced several amendments to the annual defense policy bill that would force the government to make UFO research or secrets public.
National security challenges
Despite the extraordinary nature of the UFO sightings in U.S. airspace, former pilot Graves said he and his colleagues, not to mention other pilots who have had similar encounters with UFOs in history, have been hesitant to report them.
“The stigma attached to UFOs is real, a national security challenge. It keeps commercial pilots silent because they fear the implications for their jobs,” Graves told the committee.
In Fravor’s testimony, the former pilot expressed: “I am concerned about the lack of government oversight when it comes to the fact that we are working on a ship that is not from this world.”
Fravor was the F/A-18F squadron commander of the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier, he discovered the UFO during a flight off the coast of Southern California on November 14, 2004, describing it as a Tic Tac object.
I would say that the Tic Tac object we encountered in 2004 was far superior to any technology, any device at the time, today or that will be developed in the next 10 years.”
Asked whether UAPs and UFOs pose a potential threat to US national security, Fravor stated emphatically: “Yes, the technology we face is far superior to any fighter aircraft we have ever flown.”
During questioning, all three witnesses stated that UAPs could be related to US nuclear power, vulnerabilities in US air defense systems, or reconnaissance issues in national airspace.
