Tom Holland, the young actor famous for the Spider-man series, was spotted traveling in Budapest, Hungary in recent days, since August 26. He came to visit his girlfriend, Zendaya, who also starred in Spider-man, so people also call this a “fake movie, real love” duo. Currently, Zendaya and many other stars are filming Dune in Budapest.
The actor enjoys exploring the Hungarian capital on electric scooters with Zendaya, each riding a scooter. He has been spotted on the streets of the old town and along the Danube. One notable place Tom visited was the Hungarian Parliament building, Budapest’s most popular tourist attraction. Many people claim to have been photographed with the couple while walking around Budapest. The Daily News Hungary reports that they have sampled the cuisine at many restaurants.
The building is a massive structure on the Danube, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 1987. It took 17 years to build, with some staggering figures: 40 million bricks were used in the construction, 40 kg of 22-23 carat gold was used for decoration. The floor area is 18,000 m2, 90 stone statues decorate the facade and 162 more statues inside. The red carpet inside is almost 3 km long. There are a total of 27 gates and 365 towers of different sizes, each representing a day of the year. In terms of style, the building impresses with its Baroque floors, Gothic facade and Renaissance ceilings.
To see Budapest in couple style, visitors here can experience renting an electric scooter. The unique electric scooters have large tires. The services here usually rent for one to three hours, costing 20 euros.
