“Marvel just gonna pretend this never happened”: Forget About Frozen Taimut From Eternals, Kevin Feige Hasn’t Done Anything About a Cameo From Tom Holland’s 1st MCU Movie

Tiamut’s cameo isn’t the only thing yet to be addressed by Marvel Studios prez Kevin Feige as a cameo from Tom Holland’s MCU film resurfaces.

Although the recently released Deadpool & Wolverine seems to have given the Marvel Cinematic Universe the perfect boost it needed to get back on fans’ good side, there are still a lot of unanswered questions that need to be resolved. And while the frozen half-peaking head and hand of Tiamut from Eternals was one thing, it isn’t the only one Kevin Feige has yet to address.

For instance, there’s a very interesting aspect of Tom Holland’s debut MCU movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming, that the studios are yet to explain and continue the storyline of. The scene in talk is the end credits scene which featured a rather uncanny cameo of someone who confronts Michael Keaton’s Vulture as yet another nemesis of the fan-favorite web-slinger: Scorpion.

2017’s Homecoming was a true masterpiece, cementing Tom Holland‘s position as the fan-favorite Peter Parker in the MCU as perfectly as ever. With a storyline as immaculately immersive as ever with the appropriate mix of humor and action merged, the film didn’t hesitate to set records for the franchise as it became a major entry in fans’ list of beloved superhero pieces.

However, at the same time, the film also left behind some unanswered questions that, thanks to the studios’ negligence in addressing until now, are being considered as plotholes by fans. Like Michael Mando‘s cameo as Mac Gargan aka Scorpion, who is one of the deadliest enemies of the web-slinger in the comics, in the post-credits scene of the movie.

To jog your memory a bit, the scene featured Michael Keaton‘s Vulture running into Gargan in prison, who sports a badly bruised face with his voice dripping with sheer malignance. Confronting the former, Gargan says:

Look who it is! What are the odds you and I’d end up in the same summer camp? Relax. This? (points at the scar on his forehead) It’s not on you. It’s on our, uh… little spider friend. I’ve got some boys on the outside who would love to meet him. You know, take a picture, slice his throat, put his head in a dryer. And I heard a rumor… you know who he is.

But in response, Keaton’s Adrian Toomes doesn’t give Parker’s real identity away. Irrespective of how bloodthirstily teasing Gargan may have looked, Toomes kept his calm to smile almost imperceptibly at him before responding: “If I knew who he was, he’d already be dead.” That was that, and ever since then, fans haven’t heard more of either the Vulture or Scorpion.

That said, of course, fans’ are anything but happy with this. To say the least, they are looking at it as yet another plot hole left behind by the studios that they either seemingly forgot about or simply don’t want to address anymore – just like the floating half-head and hand of the Celestial Tiamut the Communicator poking out of the face of the earth in Eternals (though this one will seemingly be answered through the upcoming Captain America 4.)

Fans React to Kevin Feige’s Negligence in Addressing Scorpion’s Cameo

From what it seems like, fans are anything but happy about how Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is dealing with addressing all these cameos and plotholes left behind. If anything, they are disappointed with how it has been nearly a decade since Mando’s cameo as the ferocious villain, and yet, no update has been provided on his future as of yet.

All in all, here’s what those fans have to say on X:

“This is so easy”: Tim Robbins Doesn’t Agree With Morgan Freeman’s Claim of a Glaring Plothole in The Shawshank Redemption That Has Puzzled Everyone

With all of this being put out there, it’s inevitable to acknowledge the fact that, if fans’ speculation is true, then Feige has indeed shown nothing more than sheer negligence in talking about something that could have resulted in one of the most interesting storylines in Peter Parker’s universe.

Of course, on the positive side of it all, Spider-Man 4 is yet to appear, and it could give the studios the perfect opportunity to finally answer all of those unanswered questions and create a storyline worth the wait. But what remains to be seen is whether Feige really does decide to trail down this trek or not.
