Emerging from the superhero image, it can be said that Tom Holland is one of the young actors who is widely interested and loved by movie lovers because of his special personality traits.
Genuine and unpretentious, despite being one of the most sought-after rising stars in Hollywood today, the 23-year-old male star is also a hard worker who constantly tries new roles to regularly meet his audience.
Of course, fans will have to wait a long time if they are expecting a slip of the tongue about the next Marvel universe movie from this guy when the Studio scheduled the release of part 3 until July 2021.
Tom Holland and Chris Pratt as the elf brothers in Search of Magic.
However, if you love this school hero, you can still see him again in other blockbuster action movies in 2020, including Pixar’s latest animated action blockbuster released earlier this year. Let’s take a look at the upcoming reunions of the audience with Tom Holland on the big screen:
1. Onward – In Search of Magic
Tom Holland is a talented actor with a talent for voice acting. Having just finished voicing in two films Dolittle and Spies in Disguise, Spider-Man is now being targeted by Disney and Pixar for the lead role in their latest animated action blockbuster, Onward (Vietnamese title: Search for Magic ), scheduled to be released on March 6 this year.
The film is about two teenage elf brothers’ journey to find the existence of magic again. And in this commitment, the things that happen on the journey are sometimes more magical than the destination.
In the film, Tom Holland will voice the main character, the elf brother Ian. On his 16th birthday, the shy and introverted boy Ian unexpectedly receives a gift from his long-dead father.
The gift includes a letter, a mysterious spell , a staff, and a special stone that promises to help Ian and his brother Barley bring their deceased father back to earth for one day.
The film will be Tom Holland’s reunion with a co-star in Avengers: Endgame. The person who will play Barley – Ian’s brother is none other than “Star Lord” Chris Pratt. Chris Pratt’s lively, quick-talking personality as Barley when combined with Tom Holland promises to create a new, extremely cute bromance on screen.
2. The Devil All The Time
The Devil All The Time is another project that will see Tom Holland join forces with a star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland and Captain America Chris Evans will co-star in the Netflix drama. In it, Tom Holland plays an orphan boy and Chris Evans is a corrupt local police officer.
The film is a story of the lives of people in Southern Ohio, haunted by World War II. The Devil All The Time also features an all-star cast including Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgård, Eliza Scanlen, Mia Wasikowska and Gabriel Ebert.
The Devil All The Time is in post-production and will be released in May this year.
3. Cherry
Coincidentally, the Russo brothers’ latest post-Avengers Endgame collaboration is a collaboration with Tom Holland. The crime film Cherry will be the first film starring Tom Holland since the two Spiderman films.
Cherry is adapted from the semi-biographical novel by Nico Walker. Walker was an army doctor who fell into drug addiction and became a bank robber. Director Joe Russo assured that this will be a very new type of role for Tom Holland.
The first image of Cherry shared by Tom Holland on social media revealed the edgy look of the bank robber character he plays.
4. Chaos Walking
Another promising work by Tom Holland that is in the process of completion is Chaos Walking . The sci-fi film tells the story of a dystopian world where all creatures can understand each other’s thoughts.
In Chaos Walking , Tom Holland will pair up with the “beauty “ Rey of the Star Wars series – young actress Daisy Ridley.
Chaos Walking is adapted from the first book in the best-selling trilogy of the same name. If successful, the film will likely be developed into a series similar to the original trilogy.
Tom Holland is rugged, masculine and a perfect match for Daisy Ridley.
