Liverpool have been handed a potential blow ahead of their first game at Anfield.
While three more players departed the club this, Arne Slot still had a strong 24-man squad at AXA Training Centre preparing for the Brentford clash.
However two first-team players were notably absent from the session.

QUANSAH AND GRAVENBERCH ABSENT
Both Jarrell Quansah and Ryan Gravenberch were pictured in the gym however neither player took part in the outdoor session.
Slot has already confirmed that Quansah could be a doubt for Sunday after picking up an injury in midweek.
However no news has been given on whether Gravenberch will be fit.
The Dutchman put on an impressive display in his new role against Ipswich, growing more and more confident playing alongside Alexis Mac Allister in a double pivot.
Having missed out on top-target Martin Zubimendi who opted to stay at his boyhood club Real Sociedad, Liverpool have been unable to bolster their midfield so far.
If Gravenberch was unavailable to feature against Thomas Frank’s side, it would provide the new head coach with a massive headache.
WHAT OPTIONS DOES SLOT HAVE?
While the Reds have Wataru Endo available, it is unlikely that Slot will start the Japanese midfielder after making clear he would be subject to limited game time this season.
Stefan Bajcetic could also play in defensive midfield, however after he didn’t travel to Ipswich and numerous rumours surrounding his future, it would be surprising if he made the squad.
At times last season, Curtis Jones played in the number six role so could be an option to replace Gravenberch if he is declared unfit.
