‘Spider-Man’ Tom Holland and many other stars have given up social media

Facing abuse to the point of “feeling bad”, caused “Spider-Man” Tom Holland and many other stars to withdraw from social networks.

In August 2022, the Spider-Man : No Way Home star announced in an Instagram video that he was taking a break from social media to focus on his mental health .

“I took a break from social media for my mental health because I found Instagram and Twitter to be too stimulating and overwhelming. I got caught up and got into a spiral of reading things about myself online. Ultimately, it was very detrimental to my mental health so I decided to take a step back and delete the apps,” he explained.

With the announcement, Tom Holland wanted to talk more about Stem4 – a UK-based youth mental health charity that he funds.
