Lionel Messi has opened up about his desire to have a daughter, while also candidly discussing his marital relationship with wife Antonela Roccuzzo.
The saying “three sons are not rich” is a phrase that many people have probably heard, but not everyone understands the meaning of this sentence, or simply understands that having three sons means the family will be poor, destitute, and will have difficulty being wealthy . In reality, this does not happen to all families that have three sons, especially Lionel Messi’s family.

In a recent interview compiled by journalist Martin Arevalo, Lionel Messi talked about his desire to have another child, but this time it will be a girl. M10 said: “I really want to have a daughter, but there is nothing concrete at the moment.”
Continuing the conversation, Messi expressed his love for his partner Antonella, saying that the beauty born in 1988 is everything to him: “No matter how I want to describe it, it is not enough because Antonella is everything to me. She is a very important person in my life. My family wants to have another baby girl but at the moment there are no specific plans.”

It is known that Messi and Antonella’s love story dates back decades. She met El Pulga in Rosario, Argentina before M10 became famous worldwide thanks to his extraordinary football talent. The couple were close and had feelings for each other since childhood, but spent their youth apart when Messi left Argentina to go to Spain to start a career.
In 2009, they confirmed their relationship to the public and then in 2012, the “golden” couple of football welcomed Thiago into the world. 3 years later, Mateo Messi was born.
