Thiago Messi (10 years old) is one of 150 young players officially playing for Inter Miami in the 2023 – 2024 season. The club’s youth training system has teams from U.12 to U.19, including 35 new players. Thiago Messi is Messi ‘s eldest son , the other two sons are Mateo (born in 2015) and Ciro (born in 2018).

Messi and his sons regularly practice football at home, or during vacations. Messi once said: “I respect my sons’ decision to pursue a football career or not. They are still quite young to make their own decisions. Thiago and Mateo already practice and play football at school. Ciro is quite shy.”
While playing for Barcelona and PSG, Messi also sent his sons Thiago and Mateo to the club’s academy youth teams to train. However, unlike when he came to Inter Miami, Messi’s eldest son, Thiago Messi, was selected to play for the U.12 team.
According to CBS Sports (USA): “This is a step for Thiago Messi to follow in the footsteps of his famous father. Inter Miami’s academy previously saw Romeo, son of former football star David Beckham – president and co-owner of the club and Harvey, son of coach Phil Neville, participate in the competition. Romeo is currently back in England playing for the Brentford youth team, while Harvey has just been loaned by Inter Miami to Loudoun United (USA) for the 2023 season.”

Thiago Messi and his brothers have always delighted American fans, taking advantage of their time after matches to play soccer with their friends, the children of famous footballers Busquets and Jordi Alba. The boy shows off many soccer skills quite similar to his famous father.
