Fans of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo have called for the superstar to leave after witnessing Al-Nassr’s poor performance in a friendly match against Porto.
In the third pre-season friendly, Al-Nassr continued to leave an unconvincing performance when they were crushed by Porto with a score of 4-0 .
Despite fielding many quality stars such as Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Otavio,… the team led by coach Luis Castro quickly lost the match right from the first half.

Notably, Al-Nassr’s squad does not include superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who is taking a break after a disappointing Euro 2024 with Portugal. Witnessing Al-Nassr’s poor performance, fans have called for the 39-year-old player to leave the team this summer.

One person said bluntly: “Ronaldo should leave this team.”
A second said: “CR7 deserves better, this team is a disgrace.”
A third commented: “Our players have been playing so badly! We only have a few weeks to fix things, otherwise this season will be very difficult.”
A fourth shared: “Good luck to anyone watching Al Nassr next season. I wouldn’t waste my time with this team if they don’t have enough money to sign new players.”
Indeed, Al-Nassr still does not feel secure without their number one star Cristiano Ronaldo. Last season, the Portuguese star played a total of 51 matches in all competitions, scoring 50 goals and 13 assists. However, Ronaldo’s impressive achievements could not bring any titles to Al-Nassr due to the weakness in all lines.

Al-Nassr reached the finals of the Riyadh Season Cup and the Kings Cup, but both times suffered humiliating defeats against arch-rivals Al-Hilal. Their results remained unchanged in the Saudi Pro League, where Ronaldo and his teammates once again finished behind Al-Hilal.
Ronaldo is expected to return to the squad when Al-Nassr take on Al Taawon in the Saudi Super Cup semi-finals.
