Endrick reveals Ronaldo’s ‘impact’ on Real debut

Young star Endrick mentioned superstar Cristiano Ronaldo during his debut for his new team Real Madrid.

Young star Endrick was given a warm welcome by Real Madrid fans on his debut. Although not as big as his senior Kylian Mbappe, the Brazilian still attracted a large number of followers at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

During his speech, Endrick could not hold back his tears when talking about his idol Cristiano Ronaldo, the legend of world football as well as Los Blancos.

“I didn’t mean to cry, but I’ve loved Real Madrid since I was little. When I saw Cristiano Ronaldo, I started to want to know more about Real Madrid. Years ago, I learned about all the team’s idols, including Emilio Butragueno. I didn’t want to cry, but that emotion came from deep within my heart,” said Endrick.

The 18-year-old added that playing for Real Madrid was a dream come true. Endrick added: “I can’t express how I feel right now because I’ve always dreamed of being here. Playing for Real Madrid has been my dream, and today that dream has come true. I’m very grateful to everyone.

I didn’t expect so many people. The fans are really passionate. I’m very happy because I’ve been a Real Madrid fan since I was a kid, and now I get to play for this team. I’m here today, I feel very happy, and so does my family. It’s unbelievable.”

At the end of his speech, the young Brazilian star performed the traditional “ritual” of new recruits when he shouted the banner: “One, two, three, Hala Madrid!” , then sent a kiss to the team’s logo and the fans present at the legendary stadium.

At the new team, Endrick will wear the number 16 shirt, and promises to create fierce competition with the world’s top stars to take an official position in the squad.

The former Palmeiras star then immediately arrived in the US to join his new teammates for the pre-season.
