Lionel Messi is getting some much deserved rest and relaxation!
After injuring his ligament during the Copa América final on July 14, the soccer superstar, 37, set sail for a day of fun in the sun with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo.
“🌊☀️🩵,” the Argentine media personality, 36, captioned an Instagram carousel on Monday, July 22.
In the first photo, the couple, who have been married since 2017, posed for a picture while sitting on a yacht. Roccuzzo wore a hot pink bikini, as Messi sat beside her in red swim trunks.

Roccuzzo seemed to have already spent time in the water, showing off her wet hair in the photo, but Messi seemed to be placing his recovery first as he sat with a boot on his injured foot.
The couple were joined by his Inter Miami teammate, Uruguayan soccer player Luis Suárez and his wife Sofia Balbi, and her sister, Brazilian motocross racer Mariana Balbi, who was joined by her partner.

Over on her Instagram Stories, Roccuzzo also shared a video of Messi taking it easy — resting on a sofa with his foot brace on as he sipped from a cup.
After the historic Copa América win, when Argentina defeated Colombia 1-0, Messi celebrated by showing his wife and their kids his appreciation.
“Family thank you for always being there,” the pro athlete captioned an Instagram photo of himself with his family — which included Roccuzzo, and their three sons, Ciro, 6, Mateo, 8, and Thiago, 11.
The mother of three made sure to show her support as well.
“CHAMPIONS OF AMERICA🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷LET’S GO ARGENTINA!!!” she captioned two family photos, adding blue and white heart emojis.

The family of five all rocked jerseys in support of Messi’s team.
And it isn’t just Messi’s family wowed by his accomplishments, even his peers get “goosebumps” thinking about what his talents bring to the game of soccer.
Speaking to The Times of London in November, David Beckham, a former soccer player and co-owner of Inter Miami FC, shared how much it meant to him to bring Messi to America after an intense bidding war.

“We always knew there would be competition,” Beckham, 49, told the outlet.
“The time I got a bit worried was when Barcelona showed interest. The club obviously pulls on his heartstrings and he never really got to say the goodbye he deserved there,” he said, referencing the 17 seasons Messi played for Barça.
While discussing the reported $20.4 million contract negotiated for Messi, Beckham described the feeling of finding out the soccer pro would be joining his team: “It still gives me goosebumps.”
