Messi Duplicate: Eldest Son Thiago Impresses with a Stellar Corner Kick at the Inter Miami Academy, Winning Hearts Among the Onlooking Girls.

Lionel Messi’s eldest son, Thiago, turned out for Inter Miami’s academy with a group of girls his age blushing over him taking a corner kick!

While turning out in a match for the Inter Miami academy, a clip surfaced of the youngster taking a brilliant corner kick during a match. As he goes to have a hit at the ball, a group of girls at the edge of the pitch giggle, smile, and point at Messi’s eldest son as he steps up. It’s safe to say he has his father’s charm!

Thiago joined the Heron’s academy in August and has since turned out for Inter Miami on numerous occasions. On his 11th birthday in early November, he was pictured sporting the pink kit just like his dad, and he’s now following in his footsteps in more ways than one! His performances for the Herons have even seen the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner come watch, with Messi pictured at an academy game in September.

The Inter Miami Academy announced on December 1 that they will compete in MLS Next Fest 2023, the largest academy competition in the USA. Thiago and the Herons will prepare for their biggest showcase event of the year, but until then, they will play locally in Florida against other academy sides. For his father, Lionel, the first-team and the Argentine return to the pitch in a friendly against El Salvador on January 19.
