Ronaldo forgets EURO sadness, trains like crazy towards “quadruple”

Cristiano Ronaldo had the worst EURO of his career. Because of that, CR7 had to endure a storm of criticism after the tournament in Germany. But for Ronaldo himself, it was all behind him.

0 goals, 1 assist and missed many good chances, those are the general parameters of Cristiano Ronaldo’s disappointing EURO 2024. It is important to know that this is the last EURO for the Portuguese superstar, as he himself admitted.

Ronaldo disappoints at EURO 2024

Partly due to Ronaldo’s poor form and performance, the Portuguese national team left EURO 2024 after the quarter-finals. After the tournament, CR7 had to endure fierce criticism from fans at home as well as from opposing fans.

But for Ronaldo personally, he completely ignored those criticisms and did not let the echoes of EURO 2024 surround him for too long. At this time, CR7 has been actively training to prepare for the new season with Al Nassr Club. Last season, Al Nassr almost realized their ambition to win 4, but then unfortunately fell short at key moments. This season, Ronaldo and his teammates will do it again.

Last season Ronaldo scored 50 goals in 51 games for the Saudi Arabian capital club Riyadh. However, Al Nassr finished second in the Saudi Pro League, lost the King’s Cup final, and stopped in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League and the semi-finals of the Saudi Arabian Super Cup. All Ronaldo and his teammates got was the Arab Club Champions Cup, known as a friendly tournament.

Ronaldo practices running to accelerate

Therefore, Ronaldo is expected to continue to be the leader to help Al Nassr conquer titles in the 2024/25 season. CR7 himself is still motivated for the final stage of his career. That is the goal of scoring 1,000 goals in his career, including both club and national team colors.

CR7 currently has 886 goals, including 130 goals for the Portuguese national team and 765 goals at club level. Looking at Ronaldo’s sprinting steps, fans believe that he will continue to “fire” regularly in the future.
