How Lionel Messi refused Saudi Arabia’s huge salary.

Anmar Al Haili, President of Ettihad Club, shared how they contacted Lionel Messi when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ended. Ettihad made a very attractive offer for Messi, including 1.4 billion euros and a salary of 88 million euros per year. However, the Argentine player rejected this offer because his family wanted to move to America.

Al Haili expressed surprise that Messi could refuse such a huge amount of money just because of his family. He said that they could completely convince Messi’s family, but he firmly refused. Al Haili affirmed that Ettihad respects Messi’s decision, because family is more important than money.

Messi’s refusal of Ettihad’s huge offer has caused much debate in the football world. Many people were surprised by the Argentine star’s decision, because few people could refuse such a large sum of money. However, Al Haili believes that Messi has prioritized family over financial interests, which shows that family plays an extremely important role for him.

Messi is currently playing for Inter Miami in the US, after his family decided to move here. This decision of Messi is supported by many people, because they believe that he deserves to enjoy a peaceful life with his family after many years of working with professional football.

During his time playing for Paris Saint-Germain, Messi achieved a lot of success, including winning the Ligue 1 championship and the French Super Cup. However, he has not yet been able to help the club win the Champions League title, something many people expected of him.

After joining Inter Miami, Messi quickly adapted to life and football in America. He scored many goals and assisted this team, helping them get closer to titles.

Messi’s decision not only impressed football fans, but was also highly appreciated by many experts. They believe that Messi has proven his foresight and maturity by prioritizing family over financial interests.

In the context of modern football becoming increasingly commercialized, Messi turning down such a huge offer to pursue his family’s dream is truly an admirable act. This once again affirms his position as one of the greatest players in football history.
