THE MOST UNIQUE FOOTBALL SHOE COLLECTION EVER OWNED BY MESSI

The Argentine superstar owns many pairs of custom-made soccer shoes that any famous player would dream of.

The first boots Lionel Messi wore as a professional were Nike’s Tiempo when he played for Argentina at the U20 World Cup.

Playing for Barca, Messi also wears Nike shoes. They can be Mercurial Vapor or T-90.

Adidas has been an exclusive sponsor of Lionel Messi since he was 19 years old. The first pair of Adidas shoes Messi wore was the F50. This is an improved product line of the German sports brand, providing maximum support for Messi’s speedy dribbling.

2009 was a year of great success for Catalonia with the great treble. This was also a year of sublimation for Messi with countless goals and personal titles. This year Messi wore F50i shoes, an upgraded product compared to the old version.

As time went on, Messi’s boots were handcrafted and made exclusively for the Argentine star. In 2012, Messi was given a pair of Adidas F50 Adizero, with a yellow, white and 3-stripe design, representing Messi’s 3 Ballon d’Or awards up to that point (2009, 2010 and 2011).

For the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Adidas also designed a pair of F50 Adizero boots, but the colors were changed to match the colors on the official ball. Messi wore these boots and together with his teammates won the runner-up position in the World Cup.

The F50 Adizero pairs worn by Messi come in a variety of color versions.

In 2015, Adidas created a new shoe line. This time, the company named the shoe after Messi and thus the Messi 15 shoe was officially born.

In 2016 Adidas launched the Messi 16 product line with Messi’s own logo on the side of the shoe.

Since 2017, Messi has always worn the latest shoes: Nemeziz Messi.
