Joshua Kimmich is said to intend to move to the Premier League this summer. The 29-year-old is a member of the German squad for EURO 2024 and currently has only 12 months left on his contract with Bayern Munich. The “Gray Tigers” are also ready to listen to offers for Kimmich when they understand that this player will not renew.
“In general, my situation is clear, I still have a contract. For me, showing my performance is the most important thing. And then, we see what happens. I I still have more than 1 year of contract and no one has talked to me. I feel very comfortable here,” Kimmich said in early March.
While it is difficult for Manchester United to reach an agreement with the German international, Arsenal and Liverpool are ready to join this fierce race.

According to German media, Arsenal and Liverpool are among five clubs monitoring Kimmich this summer. Real Madrid and Barcelona are also mentioned, while Manchester City is not left out of the list. In fact, the defending Premier League champions have long been interested in the 29-year-old player.
In March, reports claimed Kimmich wanted to join the Premier League but would not be interested in Man United and Chelsea. However, it is also possible that the German midfielder will stick with Allianz Arena for another year.
Concerns about Thomas Tuchel prompted Kimmich’s desire to leave, but plans somewhat changed after the German coach left the Allianz Arena. Kimmich may decide to play out the final year of his contract before leaving for free next summer.
Kimmich joined Bayern in 2015, when Pep Guardiola was still the club’s coach. The 29-year-old player has played more than 250 matches in the Bundesliga for the “Gray Tigers” and has nearly 400 appearances in all competitions. Among them, the most memorable was the 2020 Champions League final when Bayern defeated Paris St Germain.

As a versatile player – able to play well as a right-back or central midfielder, it is understandable that Arsenal and Liverpool both want to recruit Kimmich. For The Gunners, Thomas Partey has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, while Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold remains on Real Madrid’s radar.
In the German national team, Kimmich has made a total of 89 appearances, including 3 group stage matches at EURO 2024. It is expected that Bayern will open negotiations on Kimmich’s future after the European Championship ends. end.
